Residents within the 8 county service area of Missouri Ozarks Community Action still have time to apply for a grant to help them pay back rent. To date, the MOCA office has helped individuals and families to the tune of over $155-thousand-dollars, which Donna Owen with MOCA says has allowed renters to avoid eviction….

There are still funds available for the SAFHR grants, and the application is online. https://www.mohousingresources.com/safhr For a single individual in Laclede County, the income qualification is $31-thousand-850-dollars annual income, which is 80 percent of the median income for the county, and Owen said that amount will vary from county to county. The SAFHR grant can help with a certain number of months of back rent and rent for a certain number of months ahead.
