2020 has been a trying year for everyone including non-profit agencies that are tasked with providing for the less fortunate. One of Laclede Counties’ largest not for profits, the Lebanon Area Foundation each year raises thousands of dollars to provide for multiple agencies and then announces the grant awards in December. Lebanon Area Foundation Executive Director Melinda Fries tells us that they were able to reach out to the County Commission for Cares Act Grant funding.

In prior years, the Lebanon Area Foundation has held an appreciation event, which allowed donors, volunteers, and non-profit’s to gather, for the announcement of grant award amounts. This year’s appreciation event will take place virtually, on December 18th, on the Lebanon Area Foundation website and Facebook page. It will premiere at noon on December 18th, but those who can’t view the noon event can visit the Foundation’s Facebook page at a later time.
