(Fort Leonard Wood)–Governor Mike Parson flew onto Fort Leonard Wood Tuesday afternoon to take part in an informal round table discussion consisting of uniformed members of the military and military spousesĀ  regarding the Governor’s interest in military family quality of life issues. After the round table, Parson made himself available to members of the news media.

A specific quality of life issue of interest was the Governor’s support for state legislation that would provide full professional license reciprocity for military spouses who move to Missouri because of a change of duty assignment.
The license reciprocity bill is being handled in the Missouri House by 122nd State Representative Steve Lynch of Waynesville and in the State Senate by 16th District Senator Justin Brown of Rolla.
