(Jefferson City)–Missouri officials hope to put out the fire in the popularity electronic cigarettes have significantly gained among young people. During a press conference Monday at the state Capitol in Jefferson City, Governor Parson says Missouri’s new Clear the Air campaign involves the dangers of youth vaping.

So far, Missouri has had 35 vaping-related lung illnesses and two deaths linked to vaping – about 70 percent are believed to be connected to ILLEGAL vaping products.
