Governor Parson Gives Updates On Bad Drought In Missouri.
Governor Mike Parson has responded to bad draughts in the state of Missouri. Parson announced the availability and process for Missouri farm families to obtain emergency water and hay. Boat ramps will be open at 25 Missouri State Parks for farmers to collect water with 700 acres available for haying at 17 State Parks. In addition boat ramps at 36 Missouri Department of Conservation is also now open for water collection, and the Missouri Department of Transportation is offering special overwidth hauling permits at no charge in efforts to help farmers and ranchers move hay. Water will be accessible during normal operation hours however farmers will need to provide their own pumping and hauling equipment.
