Gold Leaf Award Nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for Lebanon volunteers to receive the Mayor Lyle Anderson Gold Leaf Award for Volunteer Service. To qualify for consideration, nominees must be a resident of Lebanon or the volunteer service must be performed in Lebanon. The youth award is open to youth under age 18 at the time of service and the adult award is open to those 18 and older at the time of service. The award will be presented by Mayor Jared Carr on April 25th.
The Gold Leaf Award recipients will have their names added to a plaque hanging in Lebanon City Hall. Organizers plan to add two new names to the plaque each year going forward. The city’s website also hosts a page for the award that features each year’s recipients. The award was established in 2019 and last year’s recipients were Laura Angst Gartin and Dezaray Ward. You can find a nomination form on the city website, www.lebanonmissouri.org/goldleafaward. The nomination deadline is April 8th.
