Missouri schools have been working to get food to kids learning online who also qualify for free or reduced-priced meals. Phil Murray, president of the Missouri National Education Association, says getting students fed has been a primary concern since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis and throughout the summer.

Some schools are also delivering food directly to kids. Earlier this year, the National Guard helped to get meals to students while schools were closed.
