Gascosage Electric receives another broadband development grant
(Jefferson City)–Gascosage Electric Co-op will receive another grant to bring rural broadband service in the area. Governor Mike Parson announced on Friday that 16 broadband development projects will receive a total of 3.05-million dollars through the state of Missouri’s broadband grant program.
A grant of $402,332 has been awarded to Gascosage Electric to extend a new gigabit symmetrical service in the Tick Creek area to 85 households.
Gascosage is the most recent rural electric cooperative to begin offering broadband services. The co-op received an earlier grant to bring broadband services to rural homes in the area.
