Funny money showing up in local stores

The Richland Police Department is investigating two cases of phoney money being passed at businesses. Chief of Police Stephen Sinden said so far they have recovered $20-dollar bills from local businesses….

Chief Sinden said they are currently investigating the incidents and hope to make an arrest. He said once there is a conviction, the businesses may be able to recoup their losses from those passing the phoney bills. Again, Chief Sinden reminds clerks to fully inspect any money they receive before accepting it.
