A community-wide fundraising campaign, administered by the Lebanon Area Foundation, will get underway today (Monday). The goal is to raise a minimum of 15-thousand dollars by the end of May to help stock Lebanon food pantries. LAF Director, Melinda Fries, discusses the Funds 4 Food campaign……

Fries says a survey indicates area food pantries are overwhelmed, and need assistance……..

Organizations that will benefit include Crosslines, the L-Life Food Pantry, Lifepoint Church Food Pantry, and the Salvation Army. Cash and check donations for Funds 4 Food can be dropped off at First State Community Bank, Heritage Bank of the Ozarks, Mid-Missouri Bank, and Lebanon City Hall.
