Fugitive caught in Camden County

A fugitive from the state of Kansas is in custody in Camden County and facing additional charges. On Tuesday, Camden County Deputies went to a home in Camdenton in an attempt to take him into custody on the outstanding warrant for sex offenses. When Deputies made contact with the suspect, they say he grabbed a handgun and threatened to harm himself. After attempting to de-escalate the situation, deputies were able to wrestle the gun away from him. The man was taken into custody. One of the deputies received minor injuries during the incident. In addition to the charges in Kansas, Carl Dailing is facing additional charges in Camden County.
