A 9-1-1 call about an unresponsive man in the 27-thousand block of Park Grove Drive in Laclede County on February 13th, later led to the arrest of a man who was wanted on warrants in Oklahoma. According to paperwork filed by the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies responded to the call and while in route were notified that the caller had an active warrant for his arrest. After conducting the death investigation, the deputies took 59-year-old Bobby Ivey into custody for extraditable warrants for Robbery by Force and Kidnapping. While he was being processed at the Laclede County Jail, staff reported finding pills that were identified as a controlled substance in Ivey’s boot. During questioning, Ivey claimed that he didn’t know the pills were in his boot and that they may have stuck to his sock while he was walking around the house. Because there were two pills in his boot, Ivey is charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance at a county jail. He is also charged as a fugitive from out of state.
