Several area youths will benefit after the Laclede County Friends of the NRA had a record fundraising event on June 9th. Chapter President Sam Allen said they raised over $70-thousand-dollars which will be used to support programs in area schools, 4-H programs, FFA and Scouting

During this year’s event two law enforcement officers were honored. Lebanon Police Officer Scott Bolin and Laclede County Deputy Jake Allen were honored by the Laclede County Chapter of the NRA as Law Enforcement Officers of the Year. The Friends of the NRA are an offshoot of the National NRA Foundation which is America’s leading charitable organization
in support of shooting sports.
