This Friday is graduation evening for the Waynesville High School Class of 2021. Waynesville Career Center video production students will provide live coverage of the graduation ceremony on Facebook. Live coverage will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m., weather permitting. Individuals do not have to have a Facebook account to watch a live video on their computer or Chromebook; however, they do have to have a Facebook account to watch on a mobile device. The students also plan to concurrently stream the ceremony on YouTube. If any technical difficulties occur during the broadcast, please note that the video of graduation will be posted to YouTube after it concludes. Tickets are required to attend the graduation ceremony in person. In the event of inclement weather on Friday, May 21st, the following alternative arrangements will be made. The 1st alternative option will be to have graduation the following evening, Saturday, May 22nd, at 7:30 p-m at Tiger Stadium. The second option would be to hold graduation on Sunday, May 23rd, at 2 p-m, at Tiger Stadium. The final option would be to hold the ceremony insited the Waynesville High School Gym Sunday afternoon at 2 o’ clock. Should the ceremony be forced inside, then only those with an ORANGE ticket will be admitted to the graduation ceremony inside the WHS gym.
