(Waynesville)–Waynesville School District has announced that changes will be made to the free meal service for children beginning this Wednesday. Buses will not be running in July. However, the district will offer drive-up services for free meals for children in July. On Monday, July 6th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., free meals will be available at Waynesville Middle School. Each bag will contain meals for six days. On Monday, July 13th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., free meals for children will be available at Waynesville Middle SchoolEach bag will contain meals for six days.
Monday-through-Friday, July 20th through 31st, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., free meals will be available at East Elementary, Wood Elementary, and Waynesville High School. Each bag will contain meals for one day. For the rest of June, the meals will continue to be delivered by bus on weekdays and the meals will continue to be available at the drive-up locations at Wood and Freedom Elementary Schools and at the High School.
