Free Farm Tax Workshop, Tuesday, November 17th at the Laclede County Extension office in Lebanon

The University of Missouri Extension will offer a free Farm Tax Workshop, Tuesday, November 17th at the Laclede County Extension office in Lebanon. This free workshop explains major tax changes affecting farms and ranches. The workshop will be held from 6:15-8:30 p.m. Nov. 17 and will be hosted by MU Extension specialists through distance learning technology at various locations throughout the state. Topics include changes due to the CARES and SECURE Acts including economic impact payments, the partial above-the-line deduction for charitable contributions, modifications of limits on charitable contributions, depreciation, farm employer-provided meals and lodging, special use valuation, like-kind exchanges, Covid-19 relief for ag businesses, families first coronavirus response act, deferral of employer’s payroll taxes, payroll protection program, CFAP and Updates from the Missouri Department of Revenue.
