State Fair Community College will offer free Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) courses starting this month. The free AEL classes offered include high school equivalency (HSE) exam preparation and skills enhancement sessions. The HSE prep classes help participants develop and improve their skills to pass the HSE exam. The skills enhancement classes help those with a high school diploma to increase their math, reading, and writing skills. Katie Stanley Deitzman, director of Adult Education and Literacy at SFCC, has some more information.

Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Nov. 16, and enrollment will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 11 in classroom 122, or online.
