Four Rivers Community Health Center in St. Robert
A Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting took place Monday for the grand opening of the new Four Rivers Community Health Center in St. Robert.
Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, 16th District State Senator Justin Brown of Rolla, and 121st District State Representative Bill Hardwick were among the dignitaries taking part in the Ribbon Cutting. Four Rivers Community Health Center has been providing quality healthcare in Mid-Missouri since 2014. Four Rivers works to address not only the medical and dental needs of their patients but also their social needs (i.e. housing, food insecurity, health insurance coverage, transportation, job placement, etc.). In order to do this, they rely on great partners to connect their patients with experts. Four Rivers states that none of this would have been possible without their partnerships with the State of Missouri, the Pulaski County community, and Compass Health. Four Rivers is the only dental provider in the Waynesville/St. Robert’s area is in-network for dental patients who are on Medicaid. By creating easy access to affordable primary care in the office as opposed to expensive ER or Inpatient care, FQHCs save both the patient as well as the state of Missouri money by treating uninsured and Medicaid patients early in the least expensive model of care.
