Fort Wood Virtual Town Hall held Wednesday morning

Another Town Hall Meeting was held this morning at Fort Leonard Wood about the current corona-virus situation. In it, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Wood Commander, Major General Donna Martin, stressed the importance of following special procedures for people who feel sick on post.

The Fort Wood Commander said there will be another town hall this Friday to keep the public informed of any changes. She said training is still going on at Fort Wood. The one soldier who was diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend was quarantined, isolated, and is getting better. He had recently returned from leave in New York. The Major General said additional measures for protecting everyone will be announced during Friday’s briefing.
