Fort Leonard Wood’s Fire Department is hosting a poster contest in honor of October’s Fire Prevention Week. This year’s campaign theme is “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape.” Winners will be chosen from two groups–kindergartners and first graders, and second and third graders. Posters should be relevant to the theme. Each poster must be the work of one child. The child’s name, grade, school, and teacher’s name must be on the back of the poster. No stickers or cutouts may be pasted on the posters.
Entries are due by 11 o’clock this Tuesday morning at Fort Leonard Wood Fire Station Number 3, Building 2375. Call 573-596-0886 for more details.
