Fort Leonard Wood’s annual Cards to the Community event.

(Fort Leonard Wood)–A part of Fort Leonard Wood’s holiday activities again this year will the annual Cards to the Community event. Each year, participants design and display four-by-eight wooden greeting cards at Joint Services Park. Registration is now open through Friday, November 27th, and can be completed by calling Installation Wide Events at 573-596-6913. Once signed up, participants will be given a spot to set up and secure their cards. Securing the cards is very important, due to Missouri’s uncertain weather. Entries will be judged on December 1st when the winners will also be announced during the installation’s annual Tree Lighting that event. Participation is open to all types of organizations, units, families, homeschool groups, and businesses. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three entries and the Best in Show.
