Former Sheriff J.B. King gets recognition for his most recent book

(Jefferson City)–A book by a former Pulaski County Sheriff about the killing of three teenagers on Fort Leonard Wood in 1977 has won a major writing award in Missouri.
Former Sheriff J-B King learned Wednesday night that his book, “Frozen Tears: The Fort Leonard Wood M-P Murders,” won the Walter Williams Special Award of the Missouri Writers Guild.
