Former Phelps County deputy accused of sexually trafficking a child has been set for trial

A case against a former Phelps County deputy accused of sexually trafficking a child has been set for trial. According to court documents, a jury trial has been scheduled for former Phelps County deputy Justin Durham for May 13th. Charges include felony counts of Second-Degree Sexual Trafficking of a Child and Possession of Child Pornography. Durham has two additional criminal cases open against him that include charges of rape, sodomy, and possession of child sexual abuse material.
For these cases, a trial date of March 26th has been set. Durham also faces a federal grand jury indictment on one count of sexual exploitation of children, two counts of possession of child pornography, and two counts of altering or destroying records.
