Former Miller County Teacher enters guilty plea
A former teacher at School of the Osage has entered a plea in Miller County in connection with charges of sex crimes.
46-year-old Mark Edwards pleaded guilty to felony of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy-deviate sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 14. as part of the plea agreement one count of sexual contact with a student was dismissed. but he will still face hearings on two other counts against him. formal sentencing on the statutory rape charge is set for February 2020.
