FORMER LEBANON MAYOR AND CITY COUNCILMAN DIES

Former Lebanon Mayor and City Councilman, 83-year-old Stanley “Bud” Allen, died on Saturday. Allen is survived by his wife, Sammy Allen, of the home. Two sons Chris and Jeff Allen both of Lebanon. Allen is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survivors also include brothers Sam and Jim Allen both of Lebanon. Bud Allen was a longtime Lebanon businessman, and member of the Lebanon City Council, Lebanon Housing Authority, and Lebanon Park Board. He served as Mayor of the City of Lebanon for many years and was recognized on the Lebanon Wall of Honor. Service will be announced by Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. A memorial has been established for Paws and Claws Animal Shelter in Lebanon, and contributions can be made through the funeral home.
