A former Lebanon attorney has been charged with 25 felony counts of deceptive business practice, 2 counts of forgery and one count of stealing. Jeffrey Bryan Allen was charged this week in criminal court following allegations that he took money that was supposed to go to his clients, during his time as an attorney in Lebanon in 2017 and 2018. Allen was disbarred this year, after the Missouri Bar received multiple complaints against him. Before moving to Lebanon, Allen was a resident of Springfield, Missouri. He is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on January 3rd, before Judge James Stephen Grantham.
