2 people are facing drug charges after a report of suspicious activity in the 100 Block of North Monroe just before 4am on Tuesday. According to Lebanon Police, the two were walking in an area where there had been reports of stealing and property damage. The officer asked the woman if she would open her backpack so he could see if there was stolen property inside, and when she did the officer saw several syringes. The woman told the officer that she used to be an addict and didn’t know how to dispose of the syringes. The officer then asked for consent to search the man, and when he opened his hand he dropped a bag with a crystalline substance in it. The woman handed over a container that held syringes, glass pipes, a small container with residue inside, and Suboxone. She also turned over a small bag of meth. Both were issued a summons to appear for drug possession and released.
