(Crocker)–Pulaski County Extension Service will be offering the first of its Focus on Kids program this coming Monday from 9:30 to 12 noon at the Pulaski County Health Department in Crocker.
Pre-registration and payment is required 48 hours prior to the class at 40 dollars per person. No personal checks will be accepted. To register contact the Pulaski County Extension office at 573-736-2119. The program helps divorced and separate parents learn how to support their children through the divorce process and how to work together in co-parenting their children. Focus on Kids satisfies the Missouri law that requires parents who are divorcing or filing a motion to modify the original divorce decree, or who have never been married but have filed a child custody case, to attend an educational parenting program. Divorcing parents need to attend the workshop separately. Since childcare is not provided; children are not allowed to attend. Attendance is confirmed after you have completed a session. The facilitator or office will send verification to the Circuit Clerk.
