A Sunday night fire in Camden County destroyed one home and damaged a nearby building. Mid County Fire Protection District reported they received a call at about 8:20 last night, for a large fire in the woods off Traw Hollow Road in Montreal. When they arrived on the scene, firefighters found a double-wide modular home with the roof collapsed and the home engulfed in flames. A nearby building had caught fire, but firefighters were able to contain the fire. No injuries were reported, but the residents of the home lost everything in the blaze. Mid County received mutual aid from Tri-County Fire and Osage Beach Fire.
