Fire Damages Osage Beach Home

The Osage Beach, Fire Protection District responded to an emergency call at 10:17 Saturday night regarding a two-story home in the 600 block of Passover Road. Upon arrival, the firefighters found the attached garage engulfed in flames, and due to the intense heat and large size of the structure, additional units were called for assistance.

Despite challenging conditions, firefighters managed to enter the home and successfully rescue two pets. Although the fire had extended into the attic space of the living area, the firefighters initiated a proactive interior attack, effectively halting the spread and preventing further damage.

The most significant damage was contained in the garage section of the house. As of now, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
