Find Your Spark with 4-H

National 4-H Week is underway, with clubs across Missouri marking the occasion with demonstrations and service projects, all with the hope of encouraging youth to join their local club. Doctor Lupita Fabregas, director of the University of Missouri Extension 4-H Center for Youth Development, says the theme for this year’s weeklong celebration is “Find Your Spark”.

Fabregas adds that adult volunteers managing each club are critical to helping youth identify and develop their interests.

Missouri’s celebration of National 4-H Week includes a spirit day tomorrow (Wednesday). Missouri 4-H Director Doctor Lupita Fabregas encourages all members, alumni, and supporters of 4-H to wear green and other gear that shows their appreciation for the organization.
