Filing deadline for Municipal elections

If you’re wanting to run for city office or school board, you have only one more day left to file before the candidate filing deadline, and that day is Tuesday before 5 p-m. Those wanting to run for city office should file at the city clerk’s office in the community where they live. Those wanting to run for school board should file in the superintendent’s office of the school district where they reside. Those locations are closed today because of the Martin Luther King Junior holiday. The election will be held on Tuesday, April 6th.
