Fighting fire and freezing temperatures

Firefighters across the region have been responding to structure fires. Multiple agencies responded to a fire in the 3-thousand block of Eaton Avenue near Richland, on Wednesday. Pulaski County 9-1-1 received the call at around 2:30 when a passerby saw a child standing outside the burning home. Authorities believe the fire may have been burning in the basement of the home for some time, and the home was heavily damaged.
