update on Fiery crash in Laclede County

The Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle crash that happened just after 8 am Monday, in Laclede County. The preliminary report is that a car driven by 26 year old Brandon Zuber and a pickup driven by 27 year old Kenneth Mosier, were traveling on JJ Highway between Sleeper and Stoutland, when the pickup crossed the center line and into the path of the car, causing a head on collision. Both vehicles ran off the road and caught fire with the drivers still inside. Both drivers perished at the scene.
