Fatal Crash in Camden County

A Sunrise Beach man died in a one-car crash in Camden County on Friday afternoon. According to the Highway Patrol, the wreck happened on Route TT when a car driven by 26-year-old Brandon Broswell of Camdenton crossed the center line, started to skid, and crossed the road again, then ran off the road and hit a tree. 36 year old John Johnston of Sunrise Beach was fatally injured in the crash. Broswell was seriously injured and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. Neither man was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
