Fatal accident on highway 32 east of Plato

A woman from Cabool was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Texas County on Saturday afternoon. That wreck happened shortly after 3 on westbound Highway 32, one mile east of Plato, when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old, Cheyenne A. Stark, ran off the roadway. Stark was transported by helicopter to Cox South Hospital in Springfield but succumbed to her injuries early Sunday morning. The victim was not wearing a seat belt. This was Troop G’s 3rd fatality for 2019, compared to one at this point last year.
