Fall cleanup week in Richland

Fall Cleanup continues today in the City of Richland. Monday’s pickups were at residences in Ward One of the community. Today’s pickup is in Ward Two at Richland…and Wednesday, it’s in Ward Three. Pickups for business customers will be on Thursday. Materials must be curbside by 7:30 A-M. Materials must be boxed or bundled to be loaded on the truck by one man. Metals must be separated from burnable materials. Batteries, tires, paints, solvents, oil, hazardous materials, or yard waste such as grass, leaves, branches, et cetera, will not be picked up.
The city asks that residents do not leave old tires lying around or leave containers out that might hold stagnate water.
