Events for Wednesday in celebration of the 105th anniversary of the Army’s Warrant Officer Corps

Fort Leonard Wood senior leaders have planned a day of events for Wednesday in celebration of the 105th anniversary of the Army’s Warrant Officer Corps. The celebration begins at 6 AM with a fun run on the Engineer Trail. Participants are asked to meet in their graduating class shirts at the Morelli Heights parking lot across from the trail entrance. At 9 AM, warrant officers from across the installation are invited to attend a professional development event in Lincoln Hall Auditorium, where a discussion will take place on Army modernization, the role of the warrant officer in the near future, and the shift to better prepare for what the Army calls large-scale combat operations. The celebration then continues with a cake-cutting ceremony, tentatively set to begin at 2 PM in Hoge Hall.
