The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that they will be closing Highway 38 in Wright County next week. The Highway will be closed between Route Y and Hardrock Drive, beginning Monday, August 31st. Crews will be replacing the Evening Shade Creek bridge and driers are urged to seek an alternate route around the construction area. The bridge is included in an effort to repair or replace 250 bridges across the state, as part of Governor Parson’s $351-million dollar “Focus on Bridges” Program. The bridge work at Evening Shade Creek should be complete by November 30th.
