The U.S. Army Engineer School is scheduled to host a change of commandant ceremony Tuesday morning, May 11th, at 9 o’clock in Lincoln Hall Auditorium on Fort Leonard Wood.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General Mark Quander will transfer responsibilities for the Engineer Regiment to Colonel Daniel Hibner, who will become the school’s 99th commandant and chief of the Engineer Regiment. Hibner comes to Fort Leonard Wood after serving as the commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District. Quander is slated to become the next commanding general of the U.S. Army Military Academy West Point.
