Engineer Regimental Week celebration is being conducted this week

The annual Engineer Regimental Week celebration is being conducted this week by the U-S Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood. Today is Engineer Family Readiness Group Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Training Area 137. During this event, spouses and family members can learn more about what it’s like to be an Army Engineer. The event will include demonstrations of Army Engineer operations and displays of equipment, as well as lunch provided by the U-S-O and closing remarks by Engineer School commandant, Colonel Joseph Goetz. The Army Engineer Association Industry Exhibition is open again today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tomorrow will be the last day for the exhibition, from 8 a.m. to noon, in or next to Nutter Field House. The Senior Engineer Leadership Forum will begin tomorrow. Tomorrow’s highlights also include Fallen Sapper Tribute at 6 p-m in the Sapper Memorial Grove and an Engineer Regimental Run at 5:30 a-m, starting on Gammon Field.
