Emphasis on school attendance at Waynesville

(Waynesville)–The Waynesville School District is putting special emphasis on school attendance this year. Michele Sumter, the district’s Director of Student Services, says the state has set a fairly tough goal.

She says parents have a role in ensuring their children are in school every day they aren’t sick.
