Emergency Kits, Cars, and Winter Weather
It’s going to get very cold this weekend, and your car must still be ready to go. Making sure you wait at least fifteen minutes for your car to warm up gives it plenty of time to defrost most of the ice or snow on the car. Nick Chabarria with AAA says you want to be able to see when you drive in the cold, and that starts with checking your fluids and wipers.
Chabarria says it only takes seconds to check if your lights are all working.
Folks need to make sure they have a winter emergency kit just in case they break down.
