(St. Robert)–An Electronics, Appliance, and Tire Collection event will be taking place on Saturday, October 10th, from 9 a-m to 1 p-m in the St. Robert Community Center.
Items that individuals can bring to the event to be collected free include stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, computer components, keyboards, VCR/DVD players, cell phones, hairdryers, garden equipment, or anything operating on a battery or a cord. Items that will not be collected include smoke detectors, thermostats, medical waste, gas containers, anything leaking oil or acid, alkaline batteries, light bulbs, and fluorescent tubes, broken CRTS TV’s or monitors, among other things. There are collection fees on tires, electronics, and refrigerated appliances with freon that are being discarded.
