Electronic billboards could soon be seen in the Waynesville area. The city of Waynesville has been approved for electronic signage through MODOT. Waynesville Mayor Sean Wilson says the billboards will help push more information to more people.
Boil orders, traffic situations, and other public service announcements were floated as possibilities for what the new signage might hold. Wilson says three different locations are being looked at for potential signs.
