A request for a storm water study was presented to Lebanon City Council during the Monday night meeting. Public Works Director Richard Shockley said the project is for drainage on New Street which is an alleyway that consists of about 900 feet. The  task order for Olsson Engineering was approved at a cost not to exceed cost of $7,000. Council was also asked for approve a contract with Reinhold Electric to bore under Jefferson Avenue…..

 

Shockley said putting the line underground will prevent issues that they have experienced in the past.

 

The City will still have to get approval from MoDot, however Shockley said he didn’t think there would be an issue. The approved cost for the project is $11,315.00. In other business, Council approved a contract with BBC Electric to replace electric poles and lines in an area to begin on Van Buren to Jackson. The approved cost $773-thousand-dollars. Shockley told Council that additional such projects will be included in future Capital Improvement Plans. –In other business, Council approved  a Contract between the City and Radiophone Engineering Inc. to provide support for Dispatch Consoles and Radio Fleet.
