Electric Department plans ahead for weather
The National Weather Service is calling for some scattered storms today across portions of the Ozarks, that will bring winds in excess of 40 miles per hour. Electric crews are currently on alert in case of power outages. City of Lebanon Electric Supervisor Travis Long said if the power goes out in Lebanon they are ready to respond…
He said the main concern is when the wind picks up…
Long said typically they know very quickly if there is an outage..
Because the A.M.I. system alerts the electric department of outages, it’s not absolutely necessary that you call to report. However if you do need to call to report a problem, the number for Lebanon Utility outages is 417-322-9001.
