Eldon woman arrested for drug possession
A traffic stop on December 21st has resulted in a felony charge against an Eldon woman. A Camden County Deputy pulled over a car on Horseshoe Bend Parkway. The driver of the vehicle denied consent to search, and the deputy requested a K-9 unit to respond. During a walk around the vehicle the dog allegedly alerted on the vehicle for the presence of narcotics.
A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Lisa Ann Morris was taken into custody after the deputy located a crystal substance, drug paraphernalia, and a bag that contained pills that were identified as a controlled substance. In addition, Morris allegedly broke a glass meth pipe while in the patrol vehicle. Morris was charged with possession of a controlled substance and is free on bond.
