Eldon Man goes to trial January 6th for shooting

A January 6th jury trial has been set for an Eldon man accused of shooting a woman in 2018. 43-year-old Thomas Stogsdill Junior was arrested on accusations that he shot a woman on December 31st. The woman was found just before midnight, in the area of Sandstone Road. It’s believed that the two were arguing over a dog when Stogsdill shot the victim in the leg. Stogsdill will stand trial for unlawful use of a weapon, domestic assault, and armed criminal action.
