Eldon Man Dies In Crash

A 57-year old Eldon man is dead following a two-vehicle accident at 10:15 Tuesday morning on Highway 52, west of Meadowbrook Road in Miller County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 65-year old Chester McComb of Olean crossed the centerline and ran into a car driven by 57-year old Steven Thompson of Eldon. Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene. McComb suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
